Crucibulum laeve

Found this on a sagebrush log today. Is this Dacrymyces palmatus? Not too sure on this one. reta
P.S. Hope Miller has helped identify this as Crucibulum laeve, a bird's nest fungi. The ones in my picture still have their covers (that would be peridiums)on.

Tulostoma simulans

Sorry, I busted off the stalk digging it out with my fingernails. Didn't have my knife and I have a night on the town planned (don't want to get fingernails dirter) :) reta

Oyster

This oyster, found on dead cottonwood, was about eight inches long. It froze the night before our March meeting and bottom half was red and withered.

The city crew conveniently chopped some cottonwoods down and left them there (for me), but over the winter someone (not me) has been using them for firewood. Hopefully, this issue can be rectified :)!

Velvet Foot

Had to unearth this one, growing by a maple stump. All the following were found down by the Snake River in a bog area.
Still freezing at night here, so only these winter/early spring ones have survived. reta
