New to Boise..

Hi all,

I just moved to Boise last week and am looking forward to some mushroom forays! A friend and I did a little searching for morels along the greenbelt yesterday, but no dice. That won't stop me! We found some oysters (too dry) and pig's ears but nothing to take home and eat.

My experience is a little deeper in cultivating mushrooms - mostly on wood but some on staw. I've successfully grown Oysters (a few different strains), Ling-Chi, and Shiitake (cold weather). I mostly work from spawn purchased through Fungi Perfecti but I've worked from prints quite a bit too. Since I'm not quite moved in, I have no projects underway but will hopefully be working on some logs soon. Anyway, if you cultivate - drop me a line - I'd love to talk.
