Hello Kevin Here.
Wendy and I went up near Cabin Creek and only found the very start of the LBM's. They need to be up and starting to dry out before the Morels come up. This hot weather may get them going. I think they need at least 10 days more before we see anything.

  1. I went to McCall yesterday to scout out foray sites. Morels are just starting at the 5200 ft to 5400 ft level. The wind is drying things out quickly, but with rain coming this week early, we should have more mushrooms. I also found Cortinarius sp., Gyromitya montana, and a few polypores and ascos.
