My 3-year old granddaughter brought these to me Sunday while we were visiting at her house. She says dad mows these. I learned at the meeting that these are of the Suillus genus and because my son's yard is filled with about 40 mature Scotch pines, I am guessing the species is luteus; thus the common name of "slippery jack." I would likely never made identification without the help of Bob and Ginny. Thanks.
